Planning and development are the part of whole school development work that strive to meet the educational needs of all its pupils. The school development program is one of the core activities for HRID which has been implemented since 2018 with Alor Dhara School located in Uttara, Dhaka. This School Development Program has several components like supporting the schools in the development of curriculum, lesson plans, assessment and exam tools, co-curricular activities, and developing a mechanism for students’ progress tracking. In addition, HRID guides the school to continue children’s education using digital platforms during the COVID-19 pandemic in the year 2020.
HRID also provides schools with a continuous improvement strategy and unique ideas to try out for school development. These strategies empower them to take ownership of their own development.
